What should go in a good lender packet?

One of the recent 'touches' we are going to add since we have the equipment at our 'day job' is to laminate the front and back covers and use a binding machine (total cost about $150 for them) instead of just stapling things.

I do have an FEIN# and plan on opening credit with the likes of Staple/Office Depot, Lowes/Home Depot as I understand this is the best first step to building credit.

I wouldn't be cheap when it comes to the legal side of a partnership agreement.You can probably use some standard partner agreement from Staples if you're looking to go low end, though.

As a property manager for 40 years, the biggest mistake is thinking that being a "landlord" is easy....that purchasing the RE is the hard part and that the rest is downhill.Newbies who go to Staples or Office Depot, get a generic lease, put a sign in the yard and get blinded by the CASH flashed at them by the applicants who smell the "new landlord" on them.....and then they don't see any more money for 4 to 6 months.

My attorney wrote my lease, I wouldn't trust a lease that came from Staples, Office Depot, etc.

Also you can try checking your local Staples or Office Max they sometime have some to go by as well as rental agreements...
