I would maybe ask the person sending these emails (if through the meditator or not) if there was a particular instance that they were upset about that you could resolve - did they have too much to drink maybe and tromped through her flower garden, were they excessively loud and kept her young children awake etc. - is there a resolvable issue you can fix to appease her until you get these last bookings through?

Kind of like when you know something exciting is going to happen tomorrow, it's hard to get any sleep - REI legitimately gets me excited, I use that time lying awake in anticipation (or soemtimes worry) to read and listen to books/podcasts, research markets, browse the forums, and otherwise prepare myself.

I use a 'waking away amount' eg on one property-replacement cost 2 mil-paid 650 3 yrs ago now generating 130k gross annual income so I have it insured for 1 million + 12 mo income loss at which point I would 'walk away'.
