I took some scissors and tried to scratch a porcelain plank sample....couldn't do it.

Play rock paper scissors with all them.  

You can cut it with miter saw or probably even a big set of scissors.

You could just do scissor trusses or stick frame roof then come in so far from exterior and add collar ties type to the 10'.

At least no more than you would have with a pocket knife, baseball bat, or a pair of scissors.

The scissors on it far, far outperform either the small scissors on my old Leatherman Squirt, the marginally better scissors on the Leatherman Juice CS2, or the really, really, really awful scissors on the Gerber Evo that i still have (and usually leave at home).

That can be cleaned off in a couple of hours by a guy with a brush, a ladder or scissor lift, and some acid and water.I don't think that's a big deal.I wouldn't waive anything until after the inspection, however.
