It is very easy to save money working in public accounting.I forgot what my dinner allowance was working at the big four 5 years ago in a major city(I think it was like $20?)

Once its filed it is public record so we would love to read the lawsuit.

Some states have most of the title records digitized available for the public others do not. 

Maryland has more likely (but still long shot) criteria.But, it is not safe to assume you won't be sued since the US has about 30 million civil lawsuits pending as I type this.And, it is against public policy to insure intentional torts.

And as far as the darkweb you do realize every transaction is recorded on the public blockchain right?

If you're using Zillow or the tax district or almost any public facing website, I always question how good the comps are.   

The general public thinks of “notes” as a passive investment collecting interest every month until maturity.  

Also keep in mind that many of these vacation locations have began changing enforcement and regulations for STRs so make sure to research a lot about pending legal actions and public sentiment of STRs in any market you want to enter and formulate several exit strategies to protect yourself in case there is a shift in the market there.

I think public perception of the Midwest has not caught up to the reality on the ground.
