If a bailout was totally rejected and both presidential candidates said they would veto any bailout, I think the banks would work harder on loan mods and a variety of other options.

Aside from cheating in FL, it was from imposing fear on the public that Gore would be much worse and all us Republican suckers fell for it, at least most of us did.There was no cheating in Florida all SCOTUS did was affirm there is no "right to vote" in a Presidential election and the state of Florida could use any method it wanted to elect the electors and conduct any recounts they wanted but it had to be consistent STATE WIDE.

When he was elected, the market sold on the news.If McCain would have been elected, I believe that there would have been an impressive one day rally, because that would have been a surprise and all the assumptions about higher taxes would be off the table for a day.I'd say that the presidential news has about run its course.

Barack Obama puts his name on the Presidential ballot for the next election...I think he could do this great country a lot of good being in the White House.All cash, I respect your opinions and always enjoy reading your posts, as they are always informative...but I can't help but feel that for some reason President Bush can only do wrong in your eyes...that with you being from Texas, you have some long-standing issues against him.
