Marble countertops, fireplace, jacuzzi, tile floors, etc. 

If your tiling yourself make sure to put some pitch on those sill tiles or use solid marble. 

However, if the trend is for marble or perhaps engineered flooring, your buyer will take your wood floors as a minus, as they will desire to rip up your restored wood floors, considering it a renovation!

For the 2nd bathroom, do I have to upgrade to a cultured marble or can i just do the basic?

We just used vinyl that was a faux marble look in a bathroom remodel and loved it.  

The last one we changed, we found marble-look laminate counters in a builder’s discount shop for $150, cut it ourselves and it’s been there for 8 years now, still looks like new.
