so if you're looking at 123 main street you wouldn't use it because you already have a specific property identified.that's all.

One of the main reasons is this: imagine that you rent out that 'bedroom' to someone and there is a fire.

Depending on your current loan you have three main options. 

I could see that as one of the main reasons someone wants to legalize it when they are going to sell or refinance.Anyone renovating a unit without a permit can still get a stopwork order by the city right? 

My main focus is finding leads or deals.

My main job is running my investment holding company, so I'm familiar with public and private market investments but new to RE. 

I'm happy to provide some reduction, mainly as appreciation for managing the leak and to help make the ceiling remediation/fix process go smoother.

There are lenders that do not have this requirement of course, but they are mainly hard money lenders or local portfolio style banks. 

Would there be any issues with me living in the unit that is not listed as the main address for the property?
