I happen to work for a university, and when trying to find roommates I posted my rooms on the off campus housing site (but I only reached out to grad level students, faculty, and staff, I didn't necessarily want to live with undergrads as a 27 yo woman).

Here is a thought for you: consider looking at properties -- maybe just off campus, perhaps more upscale than student housing -- that might be attractive to faculty and grad students.

We’re close enough to campus (but not East Lansing) and have rented to both students and faculty with success.

I live in the Hyde Park neighborhood in Chicago that houses the University of Chicago, where there are plenty of students, staff, and faculty migrating into the neighborhood every year.

Kudos to the presenters and to Josh for finding such high quality faculty for the Summit.

@Jagdish Bajaj  I think it is also worth noting that not all of the faculty, staff, students, administrators, etc. of the Schools and Hospitals in University Circle live or want to live within a 5 mile radius of their respective employer.  

I've heard women have better faculties for discerning odors than men do.

The managing broker at the office I work is a faculty at the college I work for and was my professor while taking real estate classes, all the real estate faculty are agents for the same brokerage, and there are plenty of former students who also work at the brokerage.

Two faculty memebers from Stanford showed that agents do not bring much benefit to their clients.

It's a place I know well--and it's growing quickly with a mix of young families, retirees, university faculty, and students.
