Perhaps valid concerns.

I am trying to find real estate meetups for beginners here in the DFW area but don't know if I'm looking in the wrong places. 

If it is someone you know you can give them a straight return as if its a loan - can provide a lower interest rate to provide upside - it really depends on the lender and what are they concerned with and what is their risk profile. 

Their concern is more than valid.

Tenants should certainly take responsibility for maintaining the property and promptly informing the landlord of any maintenance concerns.

These are pretty much the replies I expected, but great to hear that I'm not the only one concerned with guest safety. 

Also concerning, I just looked at zillow post and the pictures are very grainy and unflattering, even though they should have access to the nicer photos (I have had these for years, see below)..I've also been getting lots of calls form companies wanting me to sell my house.

Need I be concerned with UBTI?
