Some neighborhoods you can get away with painting the existing cabinets and installing new hardware while in some nicer neighborhoods you wont even get traffic if you dont have a farmhouse sink, with 3 CM stone instead of the cheaper 2CM stone edge, and custom cabinets, etc as an example. 

@Jorge Pena, thanks for sharing your experience, I would love to share experiences, although, I don't have as much in the landlord world yet, I am a structural engineer and project manager for a large CM firm in Manhattan currently.

Hi Joe, I graduated with a CM degree 13 years ago and I am currently working to build a development company so I think I could provide some insight.  

In Atlanta  I get first month and security deposit prior to move-in.I'm a CM in my full time job also.

I've been reading a bit and cannot get a good answer in IF the landlord is required to supply/maintain CM detectors.  

The truth is CM Frey, Bender, etc. seek votes and re-election. 

My friends who were in CM would intern during the summers in other cities and then return to SLO for the school year.
