@Jonathan Klemm long term i'd like to be by the lake so I'd like to venture closer to the Lakeview East area, especially if I do a live-in flip type deal where I'd be living there for at least 2 of the 5 years after purchase.

Look, this MTR of 30 days+ is completely arbitrary. 30 days stay is much closer in respect to tenant types to STR.

When it was time for inspections, they told me, I can’t do that and the area is not deemed for multi family- which is a lie because both houses on either side of mine were duplex.
