There are a ton of other options for using cannabis but it's going to get weird if (when) it's legal and all the landlord can do is have a no smoking rule.

All -I have a unique opportunity with a company acting as a property management company, who happens to offer luxury accommodations for cannabis retreats in legal recreational markets (think STR/LTR property management firm). 

If you're a risk-taker looking for a potential big win, then:  Silicon Valley, Denver (cannabis legalization has Colorado real estate on fire, from what I understand), Miami, Brooklyn NY, and Austin.

It is difficult to find commercial for a cannabis operation now.

Has anyone else heard anything this, or or is this just a cannabis-inspired concept?

I do believe in the cannabis industry but don't want to take the risks at this point.

Currently owe 3.5M on the property.After getting the property rezoned for cannabis cultivation and processing and doing multiple building upgrades it was just appraised for 6M.The state has finally issued the license for cultivation (works similarly to liquor license where it’s attached to the real estate) therefore further increasing asset value.

Especially up here the prices have been high because of the cannabis industry and I'd expect prices to drop with legalization over a couple of years 

I'd go all-in with Cannabis and venture capital funds.
