Being on the seller's side of options the financial calculus has always been biggest consideration, shortest term.  

Even the structure of a business school curricula had been forced to change fundamentally that now the most important courses are of math finance type, which requires relatively more modern mathematical analysis as the ancient calculus is now considered insufficient.

And if we can not stick around long enough to allow the cycle to work, we lose as wellSo, in my calculus of the investment cycle, I would gladly give up some cash flow today for the benefits of “personal sanity” and appreciation, both of which are key to my long-term strategy.

The calculus is just too complex and the variables too unpredictable.

I used to have a calculus teacher that will say, "believe me , this is the way the problem is solved , don't ask me for proof" .

Now....if you cancel and sign with another agent and buy a house that the first agent showed you, that starts to change the calculus...

I'm a "smart" student (meaning I take hard classes e.g. im taking calculus now) but I highly dislike what I learn because the vast majority of it cannot be applied to the real world.
