A lot of data centers, including Cologix who recently made an announcement are being developed there.

For example, I have a property that was announced as a grant funding development for 2025, along with the need to buy neighboring lots to clean up the land. 

I ended the offer to rent to the tenant on December 1st and didn't receive any communication from LMHA until December 15th when they tried to schedule the inspection...that's 45 days to process a voucher.We had another home pass inspection on November 5th and we hadn't "stopped and waited" for LMHA because it had never been a major issue before so we let the tenant move in...LMHA announced on November 15th that the tenant voucher needed to be re-evaluated by LMHA and that the rent rate needed to be adjusted (The story was the "Administrator A" reviewed and approved it but since they had resigned, now we had to wait for "Administrator B" to do it.

In the end, the weekend after the fed announced the first interest rate drop, we had an open house that had more traffic than our opening weekend 3 months earlier. we received a full-price offer for the house and closed in early November. obviously I have no way of knowing if the interest rate drop was a trigger, but nothing else changed in the market at that time. just wanted to share in case others are curious. appreciate all the thought partnership!

This is far from the 1st time I've felt that syndication management has been represented as primary ownership on BP, numerous podcast guests announce they own vast numbers of doors, and then deeper in comes the revelation that it's mostly syndication.

I like Waco, but I don't see a lot of economic news published about Waco.Any big announcements of companies building or buying there?

Hey @Ricardo Polanco - inspectors, whether it's announced or unannounced, should not be forcing their way into your property. 

It was bought at a public auction where nearly 200 properties were auctioned off one by one with an announcement that the first six will be sold absolute, meaning the successful buyer with the highest bid will be accepted.

After that happened and several agents announced on tv they were packing from then on the cs that was doing it stopped.
