Curious- my husband is allergic to cats and we live in the upstairs unit.

The new tenant found pet hair (dog), and their child was allergic - so they requested we replace the carpet (or deep clean). 

This is in Virginia.Today I get an email from her telling me that she's been having really bad allergic reactions for the past month, and she thinks there's mold in the condo.

Third wore way too much perfume and I am allergic to perfume.

It also allows my tenants the comfort of knowing that their building does not have animals in it if they are allergic, don't want to hear barking or feel like they entered a stable when passing through the common area.Again- makes it tougher, but better in the long run for me.

I'm actually allergic to shellfish!
