I am not sure if there was shill bidding involved or not, but towards the end of the auction there were a couple of bids placed.

Josh Anthony Levy)  the shill from Patch of Land's advisory board who was ejected for pretending he's a neutral investor.  

The last auction I went to I saw a shill there just bidding up the proprieties for the seller, and I said really loud that we have a shill bidding with no intentions on buying, and both of us were asked to leave, and it burnt that shill.

If not, I'll bid again or find another opportunity.At auctins there is almost  always a shill among the bidders .  

@Hlengiwe MalatjiMy wife is from Kenya -- see you are in S Africa - she has educated me a bit about the Kenyan market and the banking system there.  

And though I know a shill when I see one, the heart of what I saw was real.

That is know as being a shill and is against our rules. 

@Frank Sanchez, instead of thoughtful arguments, you have made baseless accusations - against @Tom Cooper of shilling for me, against me of peddling snake oil and making false claims. 

The biggest drawback to Auction.com is there is a lot of competition and they use shill bidders to drive the price up

Be aware though, there have been reports of apparent shill bidding on that site (e.g.: somebody gets outbid, but then gets contacted and told they were the high bidder -- you can find more info searching the forums on BP).
