Super new to BP but I've been scouring the site for info about using retirement funds to invest, and their overall value compared to REI.

Property radar by FAR is the best out there @Sean OToole and Sean is far to humble to toot his own horn :)Liz even though you would never use it you should subscribe or maybe Sean will give you a trial ... its only 50 a month or so.. and you can see how comprehensive this site is..

What creative, but affordable, designs have you come up with?

I have been evaluating properties on sites like Zillow but I'm not sure how accurate my estimates are on things like property tax or more importantly rent.Let me know if anyone has comments, concerns, or just general tips for getting started.

I live in Charlotte and do residential design.

Are there sites where owners of notes can post to find buyers for their notes?

I've noticed some rentals pop up on zillow that were way way way higher than what I was seeing in cross reference, I'd suspect someone was trying to manipulate the local data, I only noticed it by luck and spend countless hours on various sites.
