Overall, I am trying to gain some good advice concerning these areas but more importantly I'm trying to connect with like-minded individuals that are in Tennessee now so when I move down the ball will already be rolling.I would love to get involved in these markets in some capacity now remotely but I know that this is very hard for a newbie so I am trying to be patient.

A hospital receptionist at the "welcome desk" would have very little knowledge of what the hospital does financially, (s)he is trained to directing people to patient rooms, location of various facilities etc. not to answer questions on property.

Welcome Shannon.The first thing I would advise is that you Google and then go to one of the many meet-ups in and around Baltimore: Mareia, the real deal, Bareia, BWI, etcYou could network with wholesalers, agents and other investors face to face and get people that you are comfortable working with that understand your goals.I would also say that it is crucial to remain patient and not jump in to the first deal that comes your way out of desperation to " have a deal."
