I've had at least half a dozen clients tell me to skip a house on a tour because it had large power lines near the back yard. 3) Proximity to apartments, condos, or commercial buildings that back up to the back yard can also be a deal breaker for many buyers.

@Dusty Laurin As long as you do not run your AirBNB as a hotel, which means that you provide services like daily cleanings and food service (like a Bed & Breakfast), then your AirBNB is treated as a rental property just like a long-term rental.As @Michael Plaks mentioned, there are quite a few good real estate accountants on this forum.

And so many people have NO clue as to what a short sale or modification is...they figure they have to make their 3+ skipped payments of 4x the current market value (broken into mtg payments) to get out of the mess or pay an attorney 5-10k upfront.BUT - you've got to catch them at the right time.
