After a little over a year of sharing space, we realized that we're just not great at being roommates so I'm looking to move out. 

Other areas to consider that are not directly on the T but close would be Everett and Chelsea.2 BD certainly has a high demand, since it can be used for a young couple, young family, or roommates, so its very diverse in terms of customer range.

But sure, good luck finding consistent paying roommate Tenants.And what about all of its OTHER expenses?

Unless, they team up with a few of their buddies and decide they want to be roommates. 

Hi Guys,I have a 5 bedroom unit where one of the roommates is looking to sublet his room.  

@Wil Reichard, I'd also look at finding a partner who would also serve as a roommate.

That would typically not result in an apportioning of space since the walls and spaces are all common and commonly used - just like house hacking with roommates.  

So without great credit his mom couldn't buy a house, so he bought a townhouse in his name and then invited him mom to be a roommate and pay the same amount she was paying at the rental townhouse and they got one more roommate and now he's still living for free, with his mom as his tenant. 

Very long hours although I plan on staying here for AT LEAST 1 year  and I've been researching the local market for about 6 months now.I am currently paying rent which I know is a cardinal sin here in BP nation, my question to you is should I be looking into an investment property (single-family home with roommates/multi-family duplex with a roommate and renting the complete other unit)?
