We will be installing vinyl tile in wet areas, and are looking at possibly vinyl snap-lock planks for living areas and new carpet for bedrooms.

To respond to Jeff, the extra cost is because I need to install the A/c compressor/fan outside (all I have is furnace right now) and a cooling system needs returns up high to pull the warm air into the system for cooling.  

We get all our new ones installed for 1,8000- 2,000. 

The company who currently owns it started the process by re-doing the front staircase (approx. 20ft wide concrete entrance- looks spectacular), installing a new roof, and purchasing all new windows and installing maybe 10 of them.

Also there are people who have cars that "just stopped running" esp if its around 130-150 miles It may be the timing belt, and check to see if its a non interference engine, the installation of a new belt may just fix it right up, vs an interference engine which may have extensive damage $$I picked up a car for 900 in this situation, put another 400 to get a new timing belt and water pump installed and it drove just fine!!

Will have to figure out how much it costs to do the install on something new and then figure out what makes most sense.

Imagine if prior to installing the dryer somebody got the bright idea of opening the shut off valve.

One that sticks in my mind is that in the office buildings where he and/or his team worked, he had cell phone repeaters installed in the elevator shafts of both the office buildings and the attached parking garages.

They posed the question to me if I would be open to installing laminate in place of carpet as they would prefer it.
