Good finished flooring products

So we started a bathroom remodel in our home to fix flow issues for resale value and found some pretty serious foundation issues (pier & beam) due to very old plumbing leaks. Needless to say, we're now having to expand our project to include new flooring far sooner than expected. Does anyone have any tips as to a good quality flooring product thats relatively inexpensive, but looks good in mid-level range finishes? We feel tile would be a bad fit, and we will be trashing the existing carpet. We will be installing vinyl tile in wet areas, and are looking at possibly vinyl snap-lock planks for living areas and new carpet for bedrooms. Were open to laminates and engineered hardwoods as long as the installed price is reasonable, as we'll be covering about 1800sf with it on a limited budget. Ive heard of some people here swearing by some Allure products, but i cant recall if that was intended for resale or rental homes.
