I prefer having silent investors who will be happy with the returns than having a person think that they should always have a say and right to block certain decisions simply because they are either scare or on an ego trip and think they are now running some sort of mega empire and that they will save the world.Doesn't mean it will happen, but I have learnt to do my researches, plan things out and be smart with my money.

Should I create a whole new lease or can I create some sort of addendum that says "Following all terms from the [previous lease agreement], I hereby affirm to resign a lease from __________ to _________."

I don't know this for certain and recommend you contact and attorney for this but I think the distinction might be its fine if you are a partner in the deal or you are some sort of consultant if the work is in the project management.

Track all of your income and expenses in some sort of report form and review it regularly with your employees or Team members that have the kind of talent you have looked for and have the ability to help you to possibly decrease expenses and increase income.
