Every primary residence I have purchased, I have required a survey.Going forward, would you recommend surveying future properties?

For example, a HELOC is a variable interest rate...so it's hard to know what your payment will be in the future. 

This is an example below but easily could be done in the future of my business.I️ sell my free and clear property for 100K, which is what it appraised for.I️ purchase a property worth 160K for 90K and it needs 10K repairs and I️ wanted to use that 10K left over to invest in the property I’m purchasing.What happens in this scenario if I️ wanted to do a 1031 exchange.

I'm not sure if I want all 3 properties under the same note, seeing as they currently aren't under a business name but will be in the near future.  

Those experiences gave me a lot of insight into Pittsburgh behind the curtains and what it's future may hold.I'm not looking just at SFR but it definitely peaks my interest more than other sources I've found so far, mainly because I can find and research everything remotely.
