Can money be exchanged to bind for a set price on that contract?

Purchase price: $222,000 5 bed 2 bath 2960 sqft single story rancher on .8 acres Lessons learned?

While yes the shares are private, it also protects them from larger funds shorting the company if it were public to drive the price down (which is why many list on alternative exchanges that do not allow for shorting).

They'd be making payments to me toward the purchase price -- let's say $250/mo for 5 years, then a lump sum.

I would much rather not buy anything less than a 2 bdr, but i'm also seeing  1 bdr condos for about the same price but in nicer areas.
