I especially like this strategy on properties that are in the Garfield and Vistula District.

It seems like this may be a good area to get started for your first STR given it's around ample attractions/amenities/strong commercial district.

Try connecting with faculty, summer programs, specific majors, the athletic department, or other groups you know will be on campus during summer months and let them know you have property available. 

The property is in a historic district, so it must comply with municipal codes and be approved by the historic architecture review board.

We are also in one of the best school districts in the state, which I found to be almost impossible when I was trying to find a good house hack. 

Hi @Erin Caldwell, if your property is near UPS in Proctor district or around 6th Ave, you should do pretty well.

It's in a nice suburb with a great school district.
