@Jeff Small I chuckle when people think because a company/companies did unethical things, that would give individuals the right to do something that isn't honest or ethical (which is what you insinuated in your post on this topic).

The only option that I can think is that I need a general contractor who would be willing to meet up with me let me show them my plan and have them pull a permit for me so I can legally and ethically do the repairs on the property. would anyone know if there are any contractors out there who would be willing to do this type of thing?
