I am interested in having a LLC to invest in real estate, however, with my current license in NC, I am not able to advertise through my LLC or do any type of real estate related transactions through the LLC without having a broker in charge which in turn means I would have to advertise through thier company rather than my own.

If they advertise as a private money lender, they aren't , that places them "in the business" of lending. :)
