My understanding, in Ontario, is that skip transfers are not possible without paying all the fees and taxes, twice.

Skip to the bolded part below if you don't want to be bored to death by my rambling....I own 4 units across 3 properties.

I personally skip trace my leads. 

I was wondering if there is any other alternative to finding vacant landowners phone numbers other than paying for a skip tracing service?

Closing quickly, possibly paying less with removing financing contingencies too.REFI CONS: Some duplicated costs, say with an appraisal, -OR- skip appraisal and risk overpaying, then do another appraisal at bank’s behest in a few weeks for the refi.

@Bruce Woodruff yeah I think I was just super excited and was willing to skip on the inspection but I see that’s more risk than I’m willing to take

I would likely skip that part of the criteria or maybe try with and without to see which response rate is better.
