With your experience with rehabs maybe partner up with a real estate agent to round out the skills you may be missing.

Get the CAM first then try larger companies they seem elusive but are hungry for people that want to work.. good organizers, and good sellers,, after all when you rent a apartment for 1000.00 a month that's a big ticket item, it's half a car,, and it's a USED apartment..

They would be able to purchase the property under any terms I negotiate.My concern is that they'll see the terms I've negotiated and want to buy the property themselves (they are a large corporate organization with multiple senior properties).

This would give me the opportunity to represent clients if the opportunity presents itself, and give me access to the resources that come with joining the national, state, and local organizations.  

You can start to build skills as a landlord/property manager and build equity via your tenants money.

Don't move to Detroit...stay in Florida and take advantage of your language skill.

Plus the liability coverage you want on a property.This is alot of work and organizing.
