I'm aware of the seller/creative financing that is available but the light bulb hasn't turned on mentally when I think about how I should finance my first property.

It was the greed is good and I got mine mentality that caused the problem, not a desire to see that home ownership was opened to more people.There were plenty of plenty of buyers of RMBS and CDOs bought with the greater fool investment theory.

I agree the POF letter to everyone mentality that many lenders have doesn't make sense.
