I have come to realize how blessed I am to have a wife who understands what I do, that it's a lifestyle and not a career, and that I will always have some new crazy idea I'm excited about (whether it's my current business, real estate, or anything else).

The way I see it is there is an amount of monthly cost to maintain a life style you want.

it’s a lifestyle  question.

In my opinion though, investing is more of a lifestyle choice.

You get best of both worlds when you own rentals and rent where you live (if that fits your lifestyle).  

One of my major lifestyle goals is to never have to set an alarm clock so I wake up when my body feels like it, which is usually 6:30 - 8:00 am I go through phases, this week I have been up around 7:30 every day, the last few weeks I was sleeping till 8 am. 

That’s more of a lifestyle than a hobby I suppose.

If you can don't change your lifestyle you should be able to save and reinvest.  

I retired at 18 the day I got my real estate license  this is a lifestyle not work.. so it does not compute for me about work or not working.. based on the income numbers on the survey..

Real Estate is a tool to help me produce income and build wealth capable of supporting a wonderful lifestyle on part-time efforts at most.
