@Alex Hogle hard to say from your description there is a lot of details missing.

And if you listen to some $100M advice you find the reality of earning a million per year is hard work all the time, i.e. work 80 hours per week, read 10 books per month, grow your business and brand in the same industry for at least 10 years, cut spending (which you can do), etc.I've been hustling for over 25 years and have yet to come across any significant passive income streams.

I'm wondering if recent court cases in Minneapolis against landlords has fostered tenants thinking they can push us too hard. 

I am finding it is very hard/impossible to cash flow with house hacking, atleast in my area and the deals I am looking at.
