It is a bit unconventional:1) Co-purchase a home with another single parent in 2021 that is larger than our current living situations in order to establish a mutual support system (both have steady employment - I'm a DoD fed and she is a long time teacher in DC)2) Once new residence is established, rent out my current townhome which continues to appreciate in value due to a new high school being built (first rental property)3) Purchase a multi-family unit with a small collaborative I am working to establish to provide collective pooling of resources.
