I’ve checked some metropoles along East Coast- I get or bigger property taxes (MA is 1,4) or equally hot prices.

I took a chance, put in a counter-depth refrigerator (made the small kitchen look a little bigger) and finished (sheet rock, paint) the small laundry room in the basement. 

We have done extensive research through Bigger Pockets and a few books but this is our first run with potentially purchasing liens and wanted to have a discussion on the topic. 

I want to start buying and holding single family and multi family no bigger than a duplex in the next year or two.

Lance, I'm not "blabbing" because I didn't offer any details but I am looking for serious and constructive input from experienced investors as to how I could honor the seller's request while at the same time quietly market the property to qualified investors, after all, he wants to sell his property.Seriously, isn't bigger pockets a forum for investors to exchange ideas, and information?

The situation is more complex and nuanced and I only shared some details.I think I'll hang on to it for now, with the goal of selling and trading into something bigger or better where I feel like I can have stronger options in terms of management.Thanks for the advice.
