A beater-driving handyman will offer much different value than a web developer.

I agree with the article since every web web page that references the maximum charge landlords can charge states that the fees have to be actual costs and not an arbitrary or pre-determined fee. 

That being said, most banks have a web page with all there REO properties currently available for sale.As far as Corporations, LLCs, etc.

When investigating a particular property, you should be able to find the annual taxes on the county web site.

Some that I am currently using are city-data.com, bestplaces.net, local government web sites, and the various features on Trulia, Zillow, Redfin, LoopNet, and Google Earth.

I still have that C Corp and it works great as a web company now, but not for it's initial setup.
