Online resources for researching markets

What online resources do you find most effective and accurate when evaluating new markets and sub-markets or level one research as Ken McElroy would say?

Some that I am currently using are city-data.com, bestplaces.net, local government web sites, and the various features on Trulia, Zillow, Redfin, LoopNet, and Google Earth.
