There is no set answer. 

I originally posted on reddit saying I had 20k cash to my name but very very low expenses and a high risk tolerance.

My point was with the original poster, just because you see a home going to foreclosure sale, MOST of those homes do not actually go to sale at that time.

I hate to sound like jerk, but make sure in the future to always find these answers to your questions before you are about to close.
