For example, the property may need to be listed for sale prior to accepting your offer and may need to be in MLS prior to accepting offers, etc. so I do agree with the above comment that it is usually best to contact a local negotiator/attorney who can walk you through what the next steps are.

Hello everyone I am reading and watching about real estate for the past 10 months and I think I am ready to make my first step and purchase a rental property.This 3 unit house that I found in Hamtramck, Michigan for 50,000$.

By year 10 you get a full step up in basis to Fair Market Value at time and the gains incurred on the investment are tax free as well. 

If you don't mind me asking, what method(s) did you use to find an off-market deal?
