Foreign investors putting money into the U.S. at all costs to avoid holding money long term where they live because of civil and economic unrest.

So from time to time we come across affiliates who sell our properties through their marketing platform and we have also worked with lenders in the past that have semi-desirable financing terms for either foreign buyers or US buyers where the loan is based more about the home then the borrower.  

Not to mention the flood of foreign buyers like Canadians that have shrunk inventory and pushed up prices paid for distressed properties.

On the Secretary of State website, it says that the registered agent can also be "a foreign corporation or not-for-profit foreign corporation authorized to transact business in Indiana whose business office is identical with the registered office."

I want to invest in multiple markets (RE, stocks, forex, etc.), so I just want to have $1M in my possession by then, cash or net worth. 

The only thing to watch out for @Natalie Kolodij is that foreign real property is not like-kind to US real property.

Not many Americans buy in Ontario especially with the foreign tax.

Most retail agents don't know the true numbers when considering a deal and for many they're only focus is for making the sale.Proper cashflow can seem like a foreign concept to most...especially if THEY never owned a rental property before.
