To all the Canadian investors out there. What industry websites do you use to determine the crime rate and demographics of the area? I have great resources I use here in the USA but am having trouble identifying if an area has high crime, if the economy is stable or in general which areas are desirable vs. less desirable. Thanks in advance for any resources or insight you can share on this!

@Liz Brumer-Smith Geowarehouse is great for demographics in Ontario. Many of the larger police forces now have crime mapping features on their websites.

Thank you!! I was specifically looking for Ontario market. I did find a few crime maps for each local area, but it's just not what I'm used to for what's available in the USA.

I know Canada doesn't have as much resources as the US.. Not many Americans buy in Ontario especially with the foreign tax. Surprised your even looking

Sometimes its hard to say unless you've lived here for a period of time- Toronto areas that might be higher in crime would be Moss Park, Regent park, St. James Town and Jane/Finch area.
