I have my ducks in a row when it comes to financing, just looking for the boots-on-the-ground team there.

I'm also in search of the same, as I'm building my team there as well.

I can team up with couple of agents but  Roofstock or HomeUnion are working probably hundreds of agents therefore would cover more markets.

With how many different aspects are involved in real estate investing I always recommend people getting into it seriously to establish a "real estate investment dream team," a group of professionals they have access to for any time they have problems. 

For example If someone denies you because you don’t know what cap rate means they probably will not be a good mentor since the purpose of this is for you to learn more information from someone claiming to be more experienced.

My experienced investor boss/friend says go Multi Family whenever I can.

My number 1 suggestion would be to work with an experienced investor or realtor who would be willing to show you the ropes.

And building a good team and network is a process. 

The competitve edge is being able to move fast and have a team that is tapped into the local market.
