With "too many cooks in the kitchen" syndrome, I can imagine people in the group going all over the place and ultimately not agreeing on pulling the trigger on a deal.

I don’t see any harm in sharing since the appraisal came in only $5k above our agreed price but I requested a few things that they are dragging their feet with getting back to me so I don’t want to rush getting them something that isn’t even required, to my knowledge.The current owner is older and responds very slowly.

Shawn agreed to renegotiate the price but it took another 2 weeks for them to come to the estimate of around $5000.

IE If they wanted to invest $10k, I might agree to pay them 8-10% once annually, or something a bit lower semi-annually, etc.
