I'm curious to see if there's any builders that are newer or maybe not as much that would be interested in having a group conference call every month or quarter to exchange ideas and trade tips and information.

We have a conference call tomorrow with our first potential investor.

Unfortunately I won't be there this month (currently in Portland, and headed to the Oakland conference this weekend) but will look forward to connecting next month as opportunity allows.

A conference is definitely in the works for a Saturday coming up soon. 

We may have a vote every 2 or 3 years to refi or perform a large update to the property, but otherwise the syndicator manages all of the day to day and provides monthly and weekly reports along with conference calls. 

Just the one thought that "that's what everyone does" isn't a very effective defense if/when things go bad.  

There are some counties in our State where I heard Judge works in his pajamas (not literally, but you get the idea), drinks tea with Prosecutor and defense attorney, then makes his ruling.

I'd say too, the best defense is a good offense, once threatened go into action as if it were war!
