FOr example, if you have 30K in credit cards, they might give you a $100K line but insist that you pay off and close the credit cards with the line.

Meanwhile I have done some things right, I am saving 20% my income,  I am sending 14% to my employer's 401k, Became credit card debt free.

So far I've resisted 16' wide homes, in part due to their higher cost and higher transportation cost.  

Due to the size of the check, the bank checked the signature card on file and advised it didn't match, along with other discrepancies they said they couldn't disclose to me.
