I am wondering what are the tax implications for this individuals (most of them are from Spain). 

I thought maybe she’d like the increased income and reduced liability as she approaches 90 years old but I see the tax issues might be too big an obstacle as she does seem pretty well off.

In interviewing a recent landlord, I learn the applicant trashed a prior home recently.

Is this more for tax strategy or asset protection?

Have you done your tax planning with a good accountant? 

I intend to focus on the BRRRR method primarily, but am open to learning all kinds of other strategies including tax lien deed investing, foreclosure purchasing, and anything else that may help achieve both my short and long term goals.

So far, when I look at a property I tend to look at: what did other properties in the area sell for, how are the schools (I.e if I want to attract families), how much does rent typically go for in that area, how much is property taxes in that area,etc.

If I use my HELOC fund to buy a property, which of the following two options should I go with from tax or business accounting perspective?
