The reason they say that is that they know we'll treat them and their buyers like gold -- we'll negotiate quickly and in good faith, we'll give the selling agent a bonus for bringing us a good buyer, we'll make most indicated repairs from inspections, we'll handle all aspects of the appraisal and closing, etc.

I imagine this model evolved from the real estate sales agency model where the agent oversees all aspects of a transaction, but the relationship with the client in a property management situation is very different than that of a buyer or seller.There is a valuable take-away here.

Don't get sucked into that thinking.If Ken Rishel signs off on it, I'd compliance would be met as there are different aspects for MHs, his company does compliance for the current laws as they pertain to MH dealers.

Here is where you might begin in understanding the nature of posters on BP (or any site).Cognitive bias is applied in economic psychology to study reactions, selections or choices, fears, our naïve nature, how we justify things and more.I studied these aspects a bit in school, but there was a short sales book that identified personalities and the best way to handle them, I couldn't find the book and I've forgotten most of it, I just use a big hammer on most personalities, works for me.I did find this for anyone interested.
