A bit of history: My wife and I purchased a failing furniture store from a retiring couple 3 years ago. 

Since I found the property myself and have reviewed all the financial statements of the tenant store as well as the parent company to be satisfactory, what exactly would be the benefit that I get from the broker instead of my self representation?

I remember listening to a BP podcast not too long ago and they had mentioned how Home Depot and Lowes type stores have very limited options when it comes to finishes and that you should go to different wholesale supply companies to get more options and price points and also to find some things that would help the property stand out from other reno / new builds. 

How do you all feel about crowdfunding REI apps like Fundrise and Landa? I've been thinking about doing these as well as in person REI. I hear Fundrise is really good.
