I think you need to determine the type of real estate investing that fits your personality, passion, and goals.  

I am finding myself extremely passionate about wanting to become a successful real estate investor.

The podcasts have definitely opened up my mind to new areas of focus but there are some things that some investors do that I have no passion for or have no time for and with out focus in those areas I'd make a mess of it.
