Investment Info:Single-family residence buy & hold investment in Garfield Heights.

At present I'm considering:- Pueblo, Colorado- Garfield Heights & Maple Heights, Ohio- Montgomery & Huntsville, AlabamaThe reasons for these are that property is still fairly cheap (homes can be bought for under $60k) and returns seem to be around 15-20% gross depending on the home / market.I live in Colorado so Pueblo is the closest market to me but some of the above have even better returns.

I'm currently shopping for a buy and hold in Milwaukee in the Franklin Heights neighborhood.

I was born and raised in Chicago (Archer Heights-southwest side by Midway Airport and Jefferson Park, where my parents still reside) and also just joined the BP community just a few days ago.As far as investment preferences, there's no right or wrong answer.

Both Windcrest and Balcones Heights will have cops call you and threaten you.  

Slightly off topic, there is an almost 2K difference in the voucher amount between that area and a Congress Heights or Hillcrest. 

Going farther into the Eagle Hill or Orient Heights area would probably be a better appreciation play.

You will find that there are many from the area on here, as well as a monthly Meet Up in Middleburg Heights.
